My Apologies for today’s Comix – Considering the terrible news of the school shootings yesterday, I can see how this current thread in B&K is not going to be humorous to a lot of people… (at the moment, It’s Not funny to me either)… Just remember, these pages were written and drawn over a year ago and were meant more as a parody on peoples’ seeming need to find some immanent doom in their not too distant future… Y2K – Cometary Collisions – Planet X – Notional Mini Black Holes created in the CERN Large Hadron Collider – and of course, the Biblical Apocalypse is always a crowd pleaser…
In any case, I wonder if these school shooters were ridiculed and derided as pathetic losers and the cowards that they are to kill helpless children – if perhaps fewer might be tempted to emulate them in the future?
