As Katz continues work on the Saucer, Bunz it seems wishes to dress for success – but what is the best outfit for an invading alien femme fatale??
Whoa! Awesome! Big fat tip of the hat to Marvin T. Martian, “Electric” Barbarella (nailed the hair!) and… and… somebody else I don’t recognize.
But it’s all good.
We might be thinking of the same character. She however, as I recall, had a figure closer to Moxie’s than Bunz’s.
The red and black outfit? I got no clue. (Kinda sitting here hoping Josh throws me a line.)
AH NO! You’re not gonna believe this! I Google “red and black catsuit anime female” and what do I get? Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Nailed it first try! Dang if we DON”T all have Star Trek computers at our fingertips. It did everything but say “working” in Majel Barrett’s voice.
Now see if you can google the Squirrel’s name…
I also guessed the outfit was inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion. Note though, I think the father figure gets something of a bad rap. He is trying to stop a merciless horde of increasingly powerful space robots, who look very likely to win over humanities best defenders. Sadly no matter his own feelings he has to find an objective way to win the day, even at the cost of the relationship between himself and his son. To motivate his son to even the unknown next level he can go, he risks trading the son’s love for bold anger. And look at the result, before you judge too harshly.
Ah, the Squirrel’s name. I’m not sure of that. But some fairly powerful squirrels were associated with the super-heroine Squirrel Girl. She likely had some (um) pet names for them. If squirrels gave the villain Thanos a hard time in battle, they just might have the juice to be a backup power supply for Katz’s project.
Sounds about right.
Ouch! with that brutal “SOCK,” poor Katz learns the ancient Dirtian wisdom: When She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed asks your opinion on crucial, important questions of deep, earth-shaking significance… namely Clothes, Shoes and Makeup… you’d best pay close attention… very close attention…
Excellent and yes – Male/Female communication problems…
I suppose it goes both ways… I can recall my mother listening patiently to the old man go on and on about everything he’d done to get the car back running… filed the points, changed the capacitor, or what strange object had punctured the tire – yadda, yadda, yadda… about things she could have cared less about as long as the car just worked…
