When rambling about the Ethnic neighborhoods of LA, go to Little Tokyo for the Anime shops – Fairfax for the Kosher Delis, Korea Town for those Popcorn Tortilla things and when you visit Little OshKosh, just say, “Cheese Please!”

    Oshkosh b’gosh!

How about some SPAM with that melted cheese on cheese?!? Cheese, cheese, cheese, cheese, SPAM and cheese?

“Alright, stop it, stop it. It’s gotten silly and you don’t have an ending.”
(Any opportunity to insert Python into my life is Golden.)

Quagmire, Quagmire, Quagmire, Python and Quagmire!

“I rock cheese on my head but don’t call me a cheese head,
Bees on my head but don’t call me a bee head,
Bruce Lee’s on my head but don’t call me a Lee-head.”
    (Miss you Andy.)

Gee… despite their own apocalyptic intentions, our doughty, destructive duo keep finding that their intended victims of Dirt are considerably more violent than themselves… gangsters on right of ’em, coppers on the left, caught in the middle again…

Perhaps we should just be grateful, that they didn’t take us on a travelog of Little Jonestown…

Little Jonestown Baltimore? Not a bad place. Good eats. Little Jonestown located somewhat further south? Nothing left but 40 year old second growth jungle and ghosts.

My how considerate of the one fellow ” — you have the right to bleed”. If not, I guess you have to keep it from leaking out.

Does Little Tokyo have all the manga choices as regular sized Tokyo might? Is it located on tour maps or phone books? Thanks for mentioning it.

Eh? I suppose that Little Tokyo may show up on some city maps
(I haven’t actually checked) but it starts on 1st Street, just a few blocks south of Los Angeles City Hall (That big white tower that you see on a lot of Cop shows)… From 1st Street Little Tokyo spreads westward a few blocks until it’s more or less just south of Skid Row and the Union Mission (Kind’a a sharp break in life styles there) Last time I was down that way, there weren’t as many Anime & Manga shops about as there used to be, also no place that sells Dojinshi (that I know of anyway) and Ponie Toys which once sold all sorts of wild and weird Japanese Robot toys and models has long ago closed up shop… I would anticipate that you can find a much more eclectic selection in Akihabara real Tokyo… But it’s harder to get to on the Bus…

Welcome to our culture, we’ve got ethnic names,
We wear funny costumes but to you we look the same.
We’re the people that can make some oddball diet need,
We might have dry ice and license, different kinds of cheese…

In our culture, welcome to our culture.
    We speak Oshkoshese…
We want to watch you feed…

Welcome to our culture, we’ll feed you more and more
We have got the right to bleed, that’s what they came in for.
She’s a very sexy girl, who’s not so hard to please.
She can eat the cheese weasels completely at her ease…

In our culture, welcome to our culture,
    Parasites in fine cuisine…
Ooh, it gets into your bloodstream…

—from “Welcome to the Jungle,” Guns ‘n’ Roses…but more Big Daddy’s version.
